In this brief mortgage questions video, I answer the mortgage question: “How To Shop For A Mortgage Rate?”
The are 2 main points to shopping for a mortgage rate.

The first mortgage question is regarding the mortgage rate.

So you ask your mortgage lender, “What is your mortgage rate for a 30 year fixed mortgage”? (I’m using the 30 year fixed as an example.)

The second mortgage question (and just as important as the mortgage rate question) is “What are the total lender fees for the mortgage rate you’re charging”?

So, “How to shop for a mortgage rate” is not just about the mortgage rates, it’s equally about how much you’re the lender is charging for the mortgage rate.
